The San Francisco research laboratory OpenAI has announced ChatGPT Plus, a new subscription plan for ChatGPT for a $20 monthly.
Launched in November 2022, ChatGPT is an amazing chatbot that has the ability to answer your questions, talk with you, or respond to your inquiries. It can do everything from helping you draft and edit content, brainstorm ideas, or write Python code.
Due to its amazing features, ChatGPT has quickly become a viral phenomenon. According to The Guardian, in January 2023 it reached over 100 million users, making it the consumer application with the current highest growth rate.
As ChatGPT encounters high demand, it may occasionally provides delayed responses. To address this big issue, OpenAI is launching now ChatGPT Plus.
Is it worth to pay for ChatGPT Plus?
ChatGPT Plus is an upgraded version of the ChatGPT and it is designed to perform faster than the base model. If you want to take the chatbot experience to the next level with access to more features and better performance you have to buy the upgraded version.
ChatGPT Plus offers:

As ChatGPT has high running costs, the subscription pricing is intended to support the free access to it.
OpenAI plans for the future
In the upcoming weeks OpenAI intends to send GPT Plus service invitations to US residents who are on its wait-list, and it plans to eventually extend the deployment to other countries and areas.
OpenAI has plans to refine and expand ChatGPT and to explore some other lower-cost plans.
